This week sees the return of one of my personal favorites to Rock Band, the legendary Deep Purple, who will be contributing another track from their classic 1972 album ‘Machine Head’ in the form of ‘Space Truckin’, a song most famous for clocking in at almost 20 mins on the album ‘Live in Japan’. This is joined by another track from Ian Anderson and the boys from Jethro Tull, Snow Patrol and James Gang (famous for being the home of one Mr Joe Walsh prior to The Eagles). My neighbours may be happy but I'm not. I hadn't bashed out more than a practise session or two on Rock Band 2 when my Xbox 360 fizzed out. I had the dreaded Red Ring of Death (RRoD). After a little while of poking around online I found the UK support section of Microsoft's website and completed the online instructions. The RRoD is a known issue and Microsoft has (kindly) given most of the world a three year extended warrenty to fix the issue.
